“The Bible demeans women”.
Ever heard that? I have. On many occasions.
Whenever I hear someone speak these words, I know one thing for sure: they don’t know what’s inside the Bible.
I had such fun writing this week’s article for Crosswalk.com called “11 Biblical Women We Can Learn From”, mainly because I uncovered so much good stuff I didn’t know about women in the Bible.
Plus, learning from someone’s else life allows me to gain all the benefits of wisdom, with none of the heartaches of pain.
Yes, please.
I have no doubt you’ll learn a thing or two (or three, or four), as well. I read the article to my daughter, Ashton, before I submitted it. It turned out to be a great conversation starter about spiritual things. She was mesmerized by these 11 women. We decided Joanna is our new favorite Bible character because that gal had bal…uh, guts. After reading her story you’ll understand why we love her (and why people still name their daughters Joanna.)
It’s a great read–and a quick one, too–so enjoy! Check it out at Crosswalk.com.
You are loved,
P.S. I would love to know which of the 11 women is your favorite!
